NOW~ August 1, 2009, Songs From the Music Box is holding a fundraiser for Saving Little Hearts.Saving Little Hearts is dedicated to helping children with congenital heart defects and their families by providing emotional assistance and educational information primarily through the distribution of Care Packages.

More children are affected by congenital heart defects than any other birth defect. Saving Little Hearts provides surgery care packages to children undergoing open heart surgery.
Care packages include many items such as long distance phone cards, disposable cameras, toys and coloring books, Ronnie the Raccoon, various heart defect literature for both children and parents, pens and journals, toiletries and other useful items. Proceeds from profits will go to Saving Little Hearts.

Okay, so we've FINALLY finished our new product~ CapeTees!!!

What parent hasnt used a bath towel or bedsheet for their child's super hero cape?? I know I have MANY times for my son Zack, which is where CapeTees came from!

The way our CapeTees are designed are not directly sewn into a tshirt, but attatched to it by velcro for added saftey.

Our newest CapeTee is the boys Rock 'N' Roll red satin cape with 100% cotton black tshirt with the guitar and logo! This is SURE to be a hit with all the super hero boys out there!

WE GOT IT!!

It's official now..this morning as we pulled into our driveway our mail carrier walked up to Zack's side of the car and handed him a HUGE envelope from Children's Hospital of Boston!!! I'm not sure who was more excited, him or I!!!

He turned to me and said, "Mom, now we can help lots of kiddos with the fundwaiser!" (fundraiser)

I couldn't wait to unlock the front door and open this envelope, so I sat down on our front steps and tore it open! Inside was our fundraiser packet along with the letter of endorsement from Children's in order to do our 3 month fundraiser!!!!!!!! I am SO excited to be able to give to Children's Hospital and pray that this fundraiser is a complete success!!!!
